Job Opportunities

CEGA offers a wide range of roles on a variety of full, part-time, fixed term and seasonal contracts. 

Due to our continued success and growth we are currently looking to add to our teams across a variety of positions based at our head office in Funtington, Chichester, West Sussex.

We have several exciting roles:

  • Medical Doctors
  • Clinical Nurse
  • Customer Service Case Managers in our Medical and Emergency Assistance team providing essential support for overseas travellers when injured or ill.
  • Customer Service Advisors in our Travel and Personal Accident Claims team ensuring rapid response and reimbursement of customers claims
  • Customer service Advisors in our Medical Risk Assessment team, assisting customers with medical declarations.
  • Travel Consultants in our ticketing team booking and rearranging of  flights and hotels for customers overseas. Current use of Amadeus preferable.

Medical Doctors

We are looking to increase our team of doctors. You will be at the heart of our busy 24/7/365 operation providing support for injured and ill patient's across all corners of the world.

With an outstanding reputation for delivering the optimum combination of high quality service and patient care, CEGA represents some of the best known brands in insurance, banking and corporate sectors. We provided assistance to over 25,000 patients in the last 12 months and due to our continuing success now wish to add to our medical team.

You will need to take a pro-active approach to managing  patient care including liaison with hospitals and the medical teams to establish and agree treatment plans and discuss any repatriation needs.

There will also be the opportunity to combine office-based work with repatriations, escorting patient's home to the UK from all over the world.

You will have at least 5 years broad medical experience in either primary or secondary care. Some experience of overseas healthcare and knowledge of aviation medicine or medical assistance is desirable but not essential.

 

Clinical Nurse

We are looking to recruit an RGN to compliment our medical team of office based doctors and nurses.

The role entails the assessment and management of patients who fall ill abroad. Through liaison with overseas hospitals and medical staff, and with the patient themselves you will ensure correct and appropriate treatment is being given as well as assessing when and how patients are fit to return home.  

Qualities required:

  • Current NMC registration is essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience post-registration, to include - acute setting - A&E - ICU
  • Broad medical knowledge
  • Team player - flexible attitude towards working with others
  • Enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to make decisions
  • A good level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience of travel and/or medical insurance would be an advantage,  as would additional languages.

 

Customer Service

  • Customer Service Case Managers in our Medical and Emergency Assistance team providing essential support for overseas travellers when injured or ill.
  • Customer Service Advisors in our  Travel and Personal Accident Claims team ensuring rapid response and reimbursement of customers claims
  • Customer service Advisors in our Medical Risk Assessment team, assisting customers with medical declarations.

We would welcome applications from candidates who have:

  • A good standard of education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A confident, articulate and enthusiastic manner
  • Experience in a telephone or customer facing role and/or
  • Worked in the travel or insurance industry

In addition we are interested in candidates with foreign language skills, particularly French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic and German speakers.

Due to the nature of our business operating 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, we offer great flexibility around working hours, including nights, weekends and will consider both full and part-time applications.

Successful candidates will progress through a comprehensive training programme and actively encourage career progression including ongoing training. CEGA also offer opportunities for pursuing professional qualifications after a qualifying period.

International Travel and Repatriation

We are looking to recruit a number of travel and ticketing specialists to complement our in-house travel and repatriations team.

The role will encompass complex, logistically challenging itineraries for the safe transfer of passengers with special medical requirements. Our in house travel and ticketing specialists work closely with our office based medical team to ensure the right solution for all patients whilst remaining focused on controls including cost.

Qualities required:

  • Minimum  3 years current Amadeus GDS experience.
  • Fully comprehensive knowledge of Amadeus in script Including the application of net fares, revalidations, re-issues, refunds and ADM's.
  • The individual should have a good standard of education, be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to work well on their own as well as being part of a busy team.
  • A willingness to work flexible shifts to support the needs of the business.
  • A high level of computer literacy.
  • Comprehensive geographical knowledge
  • Previous experience in a travel and/or medical assistance environment would be an advantage as would additional languages.
