To protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. 

The information we collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the CEGA Group website. On some pages you can make requests and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

The way we use information
We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. The information is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with outside parties other than those directly involved in the assistance or repatriation of CEGA Group's customers and recruitment.  You may request to edit or delete your data at any time by contacting us at info@cegagroup.com.

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us.

GA does also record your computer’s IP address – which could be used to personally identify you – but Google do not grant us access to this

Our commitment to data security
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to those described above without also providing an opportunity for you to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. It will never be supplied to anyone outside CEGA Group without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged to disclose it by law. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation. 

Job applicant data we collect
This policy applies to the handling of personal data of job applicants applying for employment at CEGA Group(referred to as Candidate Data).   This is data relating to a living individual who can be identified from the data or from that data and other information which we hold or which is likely to come into our possession.   This data includes but may not be limited to:

• Your name and contact details
• Information in your CV about your skills, background, experience, qualifications or personal interests
• Any salary expectations or other information you have shared

By Submitting your Candidate Data:

• You have reviewed this Notice and agree that CEGA Group may process your candidate data in accordance with this Notice;
• You have provided any notices and obtained any consents needed to provide information concerning others (e.g., information about employment references);
• You agree that your Candidate Data may be shared with members of our recruitment and HR team and members of management.  In some cases where it is necessary for the purposes of your application, your Candidate Data may be transferred and processed worldwide, including the US and other countries that may not be deemed to provide the same level of data protection as your home country, for the purposes and in the manner specified in this Notice.

Purposes of collecting data
The personal data you provide in your application and as part of the recruitment process will only be held and processed to facilitate the recruitment process for the particular position you have applied for, or for any future suitable vacancies.  Your data may be used to assess your application for employment at CEGA Group, conduct reference checks and to inform you of further career opportunities. 

In the event of your application resulting in the offer and your acceptance of a position at CEGA Group, the data collected will become part of your employment record and will be used for employment purposes.

Processing information fairly and lawfully
CEGA Group processes information only where: -

a) the law allows us to; or
b) you have given your consent

Ensuring your personal information is safe and accurate
CEGA Group ensures that information held on our computer systems is secure to guard against unauthorised or unlawful processing or accidental loss, destruction of, or damage to personal data. To carry out our purpose CEGA Group may receive information about you from others or give information to others, but we can only do this in accordance with the law. Any third parties to whom we pass personal data are also required to comply with the Act.

CEGA Group only collects and records personal information that is necessary to carry out our purpose, nothing more. The information that we record is based on fact and, where opinion is recorded, it is relevant and backed up by evidence. CEGA Group checks that the personal information being recorded is accurate.

Retaining information
In addition to using Candidate Data for the position for which you have applied, CEGA Group may retain and use your Candidate Data to consider you for other positions.

Unless required for tax or other legal purposes or in connection with employment as specified above, Candidate Data will be retained for a maximum of two years (or less where required by law).
